A thorough and fascinating read, Myths about Jesus, the Kingdom of God, and Charity, is both a basic and relatable introduction to comparative religion as well as a holistic analysis of recognizable elements of Christianity. It serves as an instruction while simultaneously encouraging the readers to think for themselves. 
Learning about fundamental notions in the Christian religion can make young generations better understand their own culture and subsequently relate this information to their own experience in an increasingly internationalized community  – not altogether irrelevant in this day and age where the rest of the world is a mere click away and most nations have become melting pots of foreign peoples interacting and intertwining their lives. The examination of both why and how people should find common ground from which to grow into a new kind of co-existence can begin here.
While observing the historical as well as the theological approach to Jesus, Arklint covers both the humanistic and the spiritual aspects of the Christian religion. Fundamental elements of the Christian experience such as charity, love, compassion, empathy, and dignity are in fact found in multiple religions around the world. It was a joy to translate and a wonderful reminder that people are fundamentally connected through much more than internet cables and transportation; something which can easily be forgotten when quiet contemplation and presence fall behind modern technology.
