Chris Franz was born in Germany in 1966. He grew up in Kenya, his parents being missionaries for many years. At a young age Chris give his life to Christ. He became active in spreading the Gospel even as a child. Chris started preaching at the age of 16. Already at that time the calling of God could be seen on his life. After finishing his theological education, he worked as a pastor in Germany and Austria before God called him to found Cita Ministries in 1998. Chris and his wife Simone have three daughters. God has confirmed their ministry with signs, wonders and the salvation of many. More than 43,000 have come to Christ in the past decade in Ethiopia, Congo, Tanzania Kenya and Sudan.
