Michael Cameron has been a biology teacher and a martial arts instructor. The death of his mother and learning that his father, former Detective Inspector Will Cameron, is dying of lung cancer, bring Michael back home, where he opens a martial arts studio.
Vampires have been part of society forever, living productive lives, if limited to the night shift. But some are renegade, preying on humans. Tony Dewhurst is a profiler for Interpol, specializing in these unique serial killers. Tony’s knowledge of vampires is extensive and personal but he needs help from a man whose always been just a bit stronger and faster than most humans – a man named Michael Cameron.
More than one vampire is killing people in Halifax. Detective Inspector Pete MacDonald doesn’t know how to deal with it. The public can’t know about vampires. At first Mike is reluctant to help the police but he’s been marked as a target. If vampires aren’t enough of a shock, wait ’til he finds out why the martial arts always came so easily to him and why he’s so fast.
