(1) Lizula: She loved her father, but was sometimes afraid of him because he was known to lose his nerve. Tindua, the Minister of Agriculture, was largely dependent on her for his office work. Lizula had a feeling for her poor classmate Losuala from an early age. The determined boy fought his way through life and eventually reached a respectable position. His godfather wanted him to team up with his beautiful daughter Sulphi, who went to college with him and knew that Losuala loved Lizula instead of her. She encouraged him to propose to Lizula and also helped him to become a minister in the cabinet. Lizula retained her role as a political adviser, the daughter of the former minister, was now the better half of the current minister Losuala.
(2) Tindua: He loved his daughter very much but sometimes clashed with her. Living a hectic life, dealing with numerous people in a single day, was probably associated with some unfavorable incidents at work. Out of frustration, all he had to do was call Lizula at home.
(3) Losuala: A poor farmer’s son, was a brilliant student who faced Lizula in the high school exams. He had a slight grading advantage over her, but this year he did not even open his textbooks but diligently read high-level books in political science and philosophy. The sudden change surprised the teachers, as he achieved average grades on standardized tests.
(4) Hillu: He grabbed the microphone and clarified, “I was a salesman in an armory. A lion panicked customers and all of us. In a rush to the exit, my foot accidentally collided with a gun, and the sound of the fire scared the intruder, and he ran away. The media highlighted me so accurately that the government awarded me the prize for gallantry.”
