This book evolved from my teaching my interpretation of Milton Erickson’s approach to hypnosis. Erickson told me, and many others, that we shouldn’t try to copy him. He said that we couldn’t anyhow, even if we tried. Instead, he encouraged people who spent time with him to find their own style, their own way. Thus book is my attempt to honor that invitation.
