Moravian College leads the way in integration of technology throughout the higher education experience. Powering the Liberal Arts: Revolutionary Learning at Moravian College illustrates the institution's journey, beginning in 2013 with the launch of the Comenius Access to Technology (CAT) initiative, which called for Moravian to provide each student with two Apple devices—a MacBook Pro and an iPad. The goal of the CAT initiative is to provide a value-added educational experience, enhanced by innovative software, training, and technical support. Students and faculty at Moravian are thriving with access to ubiquitous technology; whether in the classroom, off campus or in any other collaborative environment where learning takes place. The technology divide where only some can afford and access laptops and tablets has been erased at Moravian, creating a new learning landscape that includes every student and every faculty member.
